Meet Our Senior Pastor

Hi, I’m Tristan Marrinan, and I serve as the Senior Pastor of Nubeena Church of Christ. My journey into ministry wasn’t traditional. I started out as a tradesman and later, through promotions, moved into business management. However, through a strong and unmistakable call from God, I found myself stepping into pastoral ministry, specifically here in Nubeena, where I truly believe God has placed me for a purpose.

Alongside my role at the church, I also serve as the chaplain at the local school, a role that allows me to walk alongside students, families, and staff with care and encouragement.

I’m passionate about helping people grow in biblical literacy, building a church that values every generation, and staying deeply connected to the greater body of Christ. I’m married to my wife Jess, and we’re raising our three kids, Poppy, Noelle, and Judah. We would love to have you join us at 1030 on Sunday morning for church, or at any one of our weekly church activitys.

What’s On This Week

Join us each Wednesday night for a rich and meaningful time of Bible study, where we dive deep into Scripture through literary exploration, word studies, and practical application for daily life. It’s a space for growing in faith, asking questions, and building lasting friendships through genuine fellowship. All ladies are welcome!

Looking for a place to grow in your faith, connect with others, and be encouraged midweek? Our Tuesday night home group meets from 7:00 to 8:30pm and offers a welcoming space for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, home groups are a great way to build meaningful relationships, explore Scripture together, and support one another in prayer. Everyone is welcome—come as you are and be part of a community that journeys together in faith and life.

Start your Tuesday with an hour of peaceful reflection, heartfelt prayer, and spiritual encouragement. Our weekly prayer meeting runs from 9:00 to 10:00am and offers a warm, friendly, and confidential space to pray together. We focus on the bigger picture—worshipping God, deepening our faith, and bringing the needs of our church and wider community before Him. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed time of morning tea and coffee, connecting with others over conversation and shared purpose. Whether you feel confident praying aloud or prefer to pray quietly, you are most welcome.

Join us each Tuesday morning for a rich and engaging Bible study that takes a deep, exegetical approach to Scripture while keeping the big picture of God’s story in view. Together, we explore the literary style, historical context, author’s intent, and real-life application of the text in a way that is both thoughtful and accessible. It’s a fun, interactive hour filled with learning, laughter, and fellowship. Our group is wonderfully diverse—with members ranging from age 9 to those well into their 90s—bringing a wide range of insights and questions to the table. Whether you're new to Bible study or have been reading Scripture for decades, there's a place for you here.
